Skin blisters: what is it?
Skin blisters appear spontaneously when there is significant friction and repeated skin.
Bulbs arise from a reaction of cells to the shear friction that acts as a burn the top layer of skin off a blister to form in which oozes a clear liquid , a serous fluid.
The bulb is equivalent to a second degree burn (characterized by blisters).
The behavior in case of blisters of the skin
Whatever the location of the bulb , it is essential to clean it properly and monitor its progress.
1 - If the bubble (blister) is formed and still intact , it should be clear giving a little bit in a "side" with a needle or a small pair of scissors (nail , for example) that will be increased to 60 ° alcohol beforehand.
It does not cut the blister , it is left in place , after having pressed (flattened) and sponged clean with a disposable tissue. The skin of the blister is dressing.
If the blister is gone and the flesh is exposed , we go straight to the wash.
2 - Wash the bulb with water and soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly with a disposable tissue.
3 - If you have a skin disinfectant which you are not allergic , it can be applied at this time.
4 - Ideally , a bulb should be left in the open air , without rubbing , to heal well. But it is not always possible. Then placed a protective dressing dry. We must avoid repeating the friction guilty.
5 - Inspect the ampoule once daily. If it stays clean and heals well , it is not necessary to disinfect every time. Quickly washed in the shower. No bath that will soften the skin and make it porous microbes.
6 - Change the dressing after each treatment.
Complete healing occurs in 3-4 days. If the bulb is deep and it bleeds , complete healing may take a week or more.
